It’s so easy to get a real estate license, so how do you know you’re working with a good realtor?
I’ll tell you how…you work with Kim and Jim!! Our situation was somewhat complex from the start. We bought a piece of property in November 2019 (think, the start of the pandemic) and started building in June 2020 (think, OMG, it’s about to hit the fans). AFTER closing on the property, but BEFORE selecting a builder, we continued to lean on Kim and her resources when we had questions. Kim always picked up the phone and never made us feel that post-sale issues were not her responsibility. She is so proud of her resources and she WANTS to share them! We also had uncommon issues with the home she helped us sell. For example, after receiving an over-listing offer and accepting it, we found out we had bats in the attic. Her experience, relationships and communication skills made the buyers comfortable that things would get resolved and ultimately the sale went through. There are a lot of realtors out there that can sell a house. Let’s be honest, in today’s market, if you can’t sell a house and you’re a realtor, you probably chose the wrong profession. We already had a house in mind so we went to see it right away and loved it but wanted to make sure before we made an offer.
